One for the books

October 30, 2011

Yesterday was a crazy, stressful day for UGA fans everywhere. It was the annual Georgia/Florida rivalry game held in “neutral” (cough) territory in Jacksonville, Fla.

During college, Shannon and I made two trips together for the big showdown. The first year, we didn’t have tickets, and instead watched at the Jacksonville Landing. We won, so it was still an incredible experience. The next year, we had tickets but lost. Very disappointing.

Well, this year is the first time we won since that first year in Jacksonville. I watched from home with some friends from college. Here’s what I wore to cheer on the Dawgs…

Sorry for the phone photo, but my outdoor shots didn’t turn out so well.

Love colorful tights. And little Maggie who decided to join in.

After the victory, we hosted a (somewhat) impromptu Halloween party with a small group of friends. Thanks to the suggestion of my boyfriend Matt, I was Clarissa (Explains It All).

Already owned: headband, vest, boots, pins on vest
Goodwill: watermelon earrings, striped shirt, bracelets, jeans
Target: black T-shirt, pink tights

My inspiration:

What were you/are you going to be for Halloween??
